Transfer film is a chemically elastic film made primarily of plastic film (such as BOPP, PET, or PVC). It is attached to a transfer paper or plastic substrate and transfers printed images. It is primarily used in advertising and packaging. It works by transferring the aluminized or printed layer to the target surface via a peeling layer, creating an anti-counterfeiting effect. It is categorized by material as high-transmittance PET film and full-matt BOPP film. BOPP film utilizes biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) technology, resulting in low thermal shrinkage.

The film production process includes coating, embossing, aluminizing, and laminating. Biodegradable BOPP holographic transfer film is heat-resistant up to 120-150°C and is used in applications such as cigarette packaging anti-counterfeiting, cardboard lamination, and outdoor signage. PET transfer film offers high tensile strength and excellent peelability.
